Syracuse Mets Tickets

The Syracuse Mets became the Triple-A affiliate of the

New York Mets

prior to the 2019 season. Syracuse put up a record of 75-66 in their first season under the Mets' umbrella. However, the history of the franchise goes back significantly farther. The team had been known as the Syracuse Chiefs since the 1934 season when they were an affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. The upstart Triple-A squad played in MacArthur Stadium every season from 1934 through 1996. The old MacArthur Stadium saw the hometown Chiefs win seven International League championships during the team's lengthy run at The Big Mac, as fans called it. Though the team went through 11 parent organizations, including the Mets in 1962, the nickname Chiefs had become synonymous with Syracuse baseball. 2019 marked the first time in 85 years that Syracuse's professional baseball team was called something other than the Chiefs when the Mets made the switch to mirror their Major League organization. You can get your tickets to see the 2020 Syracuse Mets at StubHub!
