Queen Elizabeth Theatre Vancouver
First opened in 1959, the Queen Elizabeth Theatre has been one of the premier performing arts venues in the downtown Vancouver area. Owned and operated by the Vancouver Civic Theatres Department, it was previously the home of the
Vancouver Symphony Orchestra

The Queen Elizabeth Theatre's seating capacity is 3,433 split between its main auditorium and Playhouse Theatre. The main auditorium holds 2,765 seats and the Playhouse Theatre holds 668 seats.
The Queen Elizabeth Theatre makes several accommodations for wheelchair users, like handicapped parking spaces, which can be reserved up to a week in advance and a total of 16 wheelchair seats on the orchestra and mezzanine levels of the venue.
Children and people of all ages are welcome to attend shows at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. All children will need a valid ticket in order to gain entry into an event.
The Vancouver Civic Theatres work with several local catering businesses to provide an assortment of food items for different events.
