AMA Supercross Tickets

Start your engines! AMA Supercross brings fans a night of excitement, power and intensity that leaves them on the edge of their seats. Supercross as a sport was formed as an indoor variation to motocross in the early 1970s. The first AMA Supercross Championship took place in 1974 with Pierre Karsmakers winning the title. Featuring three classes—a 450cc class, 250cc East class and a 250cc West Class—AMA Supercross events are comprised of two heat laps consisting of 20 rides and a consolation race in each class consisting of 22-23 riders. The track consists of a series of whoop sections, rhythm sections and triple jumps with banked berms. Mud and sand, hard and soft dirt and flat and bumpy surfaces are all utilized to create a challenging course. Venues where AMA Supercross races have previously been held include locations like

the Dome at America's Center

in St. Louis,

AT&T Stadium

in Arlington,

Oakland Coliseum

in Oakland and

Petco Park
