Going in to her 16th season, Coach Cathy George will need to fill significant roles on the roster as the leading scorer and setters on the team from last season have graduated. Returning players Naya Gros, Alyssa Chronowski, Molly Johnson, Elena Shklyar and Jamye Cox may have big shoes to fill, but they proved in 2019 that they are up for the challenge. Senior setter Maggie Midgette led in assists per set with 4.92 followed closely by sophomore Elena Shklyar with average assists per set for the season of 4.86. Defensively, junior Jamye Cox led all teammates with 395 digs for the year. Naya Gros led the Spartans in blocks in her 2019 sophomore season. Gros had a season high 130 blocks including 19 solo.'
